First, how to deal with marriage certificate after divorce
For the marriage certificate after divorce, the Civil Affairs Bureau generally has two ways to deal with it.
First, in the case of no special requirements of both parties, the Civil Affairs Bureau will default to recover the marriage certificate and destroy it, and the recovered marriage certificate is an invalid document and cannot be returned for further use.

1. Divorce by agreement
Both parties bring their ID cards, household registration, marriage certificate, divorce agreement (in triplicate), and two 2-inch recent half-head photos to the permanent residence of one of the parties for divorce.

2. Divorce proceedings
If the divorce matters, the parties have different opinions, can not reach an agreement, it is necessary to go through legal procedures for divorce.
