Arranged marriage means that both men and women are not willing to become husband and wife, but by a third party in violation of the principle of freedom of marriage, arranged marriage of others, also known as involuntary marriage. It was the main form and important characteristic of the feudal marriage system. It was based on the match-making and arranged by parents and match-makers, but there was often no emotion between the parties.
