According to Article 5 of Chapter 2 of China's Marriage Registration Regulations, mainland residents who apply for marriage registration should bring their household registration book, ID card, signed statement that they have no spouse and no direct blood relatives with the other party or collateral blood relatives within three generations to the civil affairs department of one of the registered places for marriage registration.

Conditions for marriage registration
1. Both parties shall apply for marriage registration at the Civil Affairs Bureau where one of them is registered.
2, male at 22 years old, female at 20 years old.
3. Non-consanguineous marriage.
4, can not be banned from marriage disease.
5. Neither party is currently married (unmarried, divorced, widowed).
6. The marriage is consensual.
7. Go to the Civil Affairs Bureau with the household registration books and ID cards of both parties and three recent 2-inch semi-bareheaded group photos of both parties.
Attention:
Those who cannot submit their identity cards for any reason may issue valid temporary identity cards.
To obtain a collective household registration certificate, you need to first apply for a household registration certificate at the local police station, and carry a household registration certificate and other valid documents to the civil affairs department for marriage registration.
