Conditions for obtaining a marriage certificate
As long as the marriage conditions stipulated by law are met, both parties to the marriage can apply for a marriage certificate at the marriage registration authority in the place where one party's permanent household registration is located, without the need to provide a marriage examination certificate, as long as they hold a household registration book, ID card, proof of marital status, and signed proof that they have no spouse or direct or collateral blood relationship with the other party.
The marriage conditions stipulated in China's Marriage Law are:
1. Marriage requires both men and women to be completely voluntary.
2. The age of marriage for men shall not be earlier than 22 years old, and for women shall not be earlier than 20 years old.
3. Comply with the basic principle of monogamy.
4. Not direct blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations.
5. I do not suffer from any diseases that are medically considered unsuitable for marriage.
