It's not good to have a party months in advance. Under normal circumstances, the party is held the day before the wedding, the invited guests are the woman's relatives and friends, not too long apart from the wedding time. However, if local customs allow, or the couple has special circumstances, then it is possible to hold a wedding banquet several months in advance with the agreement of the two families.
