In China, marriage registration needs to comply with the relevant provisions of the Marriage Law, and the age is not earlier than 22 years old for boys and 20 years old for girls. Parties who do not meet the age of marriage are unable to register for marriage.
Documents and certificates for marriage registration
Article 5 of the Marriage Registration Regulations: Mainland residents who apply for marriage registration shall present the following documents and certification materials:
Hong Kong residents, Macao residents and Taiwan residents who handle marriage registration shall present the following certificates and certifying materials:
1, my valid pass, ID card;
1. Valid passport;
(2) A certificate issued by a notary or competent authority in the country of residence and certified by the Embassy (consulate) of the People's Republic of China in the country certifying that he has no spouse and no direct blood relation or collateral blood relation within three generations with the other party; Or a certificate issued by the Embassy (consulate) of the People's Republic of China in that country that the person does not have a spouse and does not have a direct blood relation with the other party or a collateral blood relation within three generations.
(2) A certificate of no spouse issued by the notary or competent authority of the country where he is located and certified by the Embassy (consulate) of the People's Republic of China in that country or the Embassy (consulate) of that country, or a certificate of no spouse issued by the Embassy (consulate) of the country where he is located.
