Invalid marriage is a new system set up in the revised Marriage Law in 2001, which clearly stipulates the reasons for invalid marriage, the procedures for applying for invalid marriage and the consequences of invalid marriage. Invalid marriage refers to a marriage that does not meet the marriage conditions stipulated by the Marriage law, but receives a marriage certificate.
If the marriage certificate is invalid for 100 days:
2. Not reaching the legal age for marriage
The Marriage Law stipulates that the age of marriage shall not be earlier than 22 years for men and 20 years for women. If one or both of the licensed men and women are under the minimum age for marriage stipulated in the Marriage Law, the license is invalid.
(4) Suffering from a medical disease that should not be married before marriage, and has not been cured after marriage.
