After the divorce of both parties, the original marriage certificate will not be revoked. Procedure for handling divorce
1. The parties shall submit their credentials and supporting materials;
2. The marriage registrar checks the corresponding documents and proof materials;
3. The marriage registrar explains to the parties the conditions for registering divorce under the Marriage Law;
4. The marriage registrar inquires about the parties' intention to divorce and their willingness to comply with the contents of the divorce agreement;
5. If both parties voluntarily divorce and reach a consensus on matters such as child custody, property, and debt management, they shall fill out the "Application for Divorce Registration Declaration" and sign it in front of the proctor;
6. Both husband and wife personally sign the divorce agreement; The marriage registrar serves as the guardian of oaths. Both husband and wife shall keep one copy of the agreement, and the marriage registration office shall keep one copy on file;
7. The marriage registrar reviews the documents, divorce registration declaration, and divorce agreement submitted by the parties, and if they meet the conditions for divorce, fills out the "Divorce Registration Review Processing Form" and divorce certificate;
8. Issue a divorce certificate.
