The statutory marriage leave in Guizhou Province is 13 days. Article 55 of the "Population and Family Planning Regulations of Guizhou Province" stipulates that state officials and employees of enterprises and institutions who register their marriage in accordance with the law shall enjoy an additional 10 days of marriage leave in addition to the marriage leave provided by the state. 1、 Guizhou Province Marriage Leave Regulations

1. Those who marry at the legal age of marriage (20 years old for females and 22 years old for males) are eligible for marriage leave.

2. Those who meet the late marriage age (23 years old for females and 25 years old for males) will no longer be eligible for late marriage leave rewards.

3. If both the man and the woman are not working in the same place at the time of marriage, additional travel leave may be granted depending on the distance traveled.

4. Marriage during family visit leave (to visit parents) will not be granted additional leave.

5. Marriage leave includes public holidays and statutory holidays.

6. Remarried individuals are entitled to statutory marriage leave.

7. During the period of enjoying the above-mentioned holidays, the salary will be paid as usual, and the welfare benefits will remain unchanged, without affecting attendance, assessment, promotion, advancement, or salary increase.

2、 How long does it take to finish the wedding leave

1. There is no regulation on the validity period of marriage leave in the country, that is, there is no regulation on how long the marriage leave must be taken after registering and obtaining the marriage certificate.

2. For the validity period of marriage leave, although there is no mandatory unified regulation in the country, companies or units generally make corresponding regulations. Some require employees to take leave within three days after registering and obtaining the marriage certificate, some within six months, and some within one year. Employees should comply with these regulations of the unit. Meanwhile, since it is a marriage leave, it is not advisable to take it for a long time after obtaining the marriage certificate.
