You can register your child's household registration without obtaining a marriage certificate. According to Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Resolving the Registration of Household Registration for Non Registered Persons, individuals who give birth outside of policies or out of wedlock without household registration may apply for permanent household registration by themselves or their guardians based on their "Birth Medical Certificate" and one of their parents' household registration book, marriage certificate, or explanation of out of wedlock birth, in accordance with the voluntary policy of settling with their parents. Unmarried individuals who apply to settle with their father and have no household registration must also provide a paternity test certificate issued by a qualified appraisal institution.

1. Medical certificate of the child's birth;
2. Resident household registration book of either parent;
3. Explanation of Non marital Childbirth;
4. Both parents' ID cards;
5. Mother's hospitalization medical record homepage, discharge summary;
