There is no requirement in Chinese law for the social status of married individuals. As long as both parties meet the marriage conditions stipulated by Chinese law, college students can also get married.
According to Article 7 of China's Marriage Registration Regulations, both parties involved in marriage registration must meet the following conditions:——
1. Male over 22 years old, female over 20 years old
2. Non consanguineous marriage
3. No statutory prohibition on marriage and illness
4. Both parties are currently unmarried, divorced, or widowed
5. Both parties voluntarily marry
Both parties who meet all the above conditions, regardless of their social status, are eligible
