The marriage certificate is a red paper version booklet, which is a legal document issued by the marriage registration management authority to prove the valid establishment of the marriage relationship. There are two original copies, one for each party. The style is uniformly formulated by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, and it is affixed with photos of both men and women, and stamped with a special steel seal for marriage registration.
Marriage certificate content information
1. The first front is printed with the words: Marriage Application, in accordance with the provisions of the Marriage Law of the People's Republic of China, registered and issued with this certificate, as well as the registration authority and marriage registrar.
2. The first reverse side is printed with the holder, registration date, marriage certificate number, remarks, and a recent photo of the two people.
3. On the front of the second sheet is the information, name, gender, nationality, date of birth and ID number number of both parties.
4. The second reverse side reads: "According to the Marriage Law, both men and women who are required to get married must personally go to the marriage registration office to register their marriage. Those who meet the requirements of this law will be registered and issued a marriage certificate. Obtaining a marriage certificate establishes the marital relationship. The leather tail has a number (without any textual annotation, starting with English NO).
