According to Article 6 of Chapter 2 of the Marriage Law of the People's Republic of China, the age of marriage for men shall not be earlier than 22 years old, and for women shall not be earlier than 20 years old.
Marriage registration requirements
1. Both parties shall jointly go to the civil affairs bureau where one party's registered residence is located to register the marriage.
2. Men must be at least 22 years old, and women must be at least 20 years old.
3. Non consanguineous marriage.
4. There is no legal prohibition on marriage or illness.
5. Both parties are currently unmarried, divorced, or widowed.
6. Both parties voluntarily marry.
7. Bring both parties' household registration books and ID cards, as well as three recent 2-inch half length bareheaded photos of both parties, to the Civil Affairs Bureau for processing.
