Diamond vs. 1 clarity is relatively good. In the GIA diamond clarity level standard, vs1 represents "minor flaws" diamonds, which refer to diamonds with extremely small flaws that are difficult to see with the naked eye, presenting a better visual effect. Compared to vs2 and below grade diamonds, vs1 is more perfect, with fewer flaws, and its price is cheap with high overall cost-effectiveness. It is currently very popular in the market.
Diamond clarity level
Diamond clarity refers to the visual cleanliness of a diamond and is one of the 4C standards for diamonds. There are two types of defect factors that affect its level: inclusions and surface defects. The rating of diamond clarity must be examined under a ten fold magnifying glass. GIA categorizes diamond clarity into 6 types and 11 levels, as follows:
FL: Perfect flawless level, observed through professional equipment, with no flaws inside or outside, and the highest clarity. This type of diamond is also the most precious and rare.
IF: Internally flawless level, observed through professional equipment, there are no flaws inside, but there are extremely small flaws on the surface of the diamond.
VVSI: Extremely small flaws level 1, observed through professional equipment, can only detect a single extremely small flaw.
VVS2: Extremely minor flaws level 2, through professional equipment observation, individual extremely minor flaws can be seen.
VS1: Micro Defect Level 1, visible through professional equipment observation of individual tiny flaws.
VS2: Micro Defect Level 2, with several small flaws visible through professional equipment observation.
SI1: Minor flaw level 1, easily visible through professional equipment observation.
SI2: Minor flaw level 2, several obvious flaws can be observed through professional equipment observation.
P1、P2、P3: Both belong to the level of major defects. P1 and P2 can be observed with obvious defects under a ten fold magnifying glass, while P3 can be seen with the naked eye.
