According to Article 6 of Chapter 2 of the Marriage Law of the People's Republic of China, the age of marriage for men shall not be earlier than 22 years old, and for women shall not be earlier than 20 years old. Therefore, boys must be at least 22 years old and girls must be at least 20 years old to obtain a marriage certificate.
Not meeting the conditions for marriage
1. Not yet of legal age for marriage.
2. Not voluntarily agreed upon by both parties.
3. One or both parties already have spouses.
4. Belonging to direct blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations.
5. Suffering from a medical condition that is considered inappropriate for marriage.
