According to Article 4 of Chapter 2 of China's Marriage Registration Regulations, when mainland residents get married, both the man and the woman should jointly go to the marriage registration authority in the place where one party's permanent household registration is located to handle the marriage registration. Therefore, marriage registration can only be handled in the registered residence of both men and women, not in other places.
1、 Materials for Marriage Registration
1. Both parties' household registration books and ID cards.
2. I hereby declare that I have no spouse and no direct blood relationship or collateral blood relationship within three generations with the other party.
3. Three recent 2-inch half body photos without a crown (can be brought or taken on-site at the Civil Affairs Bureau).
2、 Requirements for obtaining a marriage certificate
1. Men must be at least 22 years old, and women must be at least 20 years old.
2. Both parties voluntarily marry.
3. Both parties have no spouse.
4. There is no direct blood relationship or collateral blood relationship within three generations between the two parties.
5. Both parties do not suffer from any diseases that are medically considered unfit for marriage.
