The Civil Affairs Bureau of our country is a national administrative agency and does not work on statutory holidays. Therefore, during the National Day holiday, the Civil Affairs Bureau cannot handle marriage registration.

1、 Working hours of the Civil Affairs Bureau

1. From Monday to Friday, generally from 9:00-12:00 in the morning and 1:30-5:00 in the afternoon, specific times need to be consulted with the local civil affairs department.

2. In some areas, the Civil Affairs Bureau can handle appointment registration on Saturdays.

2、 Marriage registration requirements

1. Both parties shall jointly go to the civil affairs bureau where one party's registered residence is located to register the marriage.

2. Men must be at least 22 years old, and women must be at least 20 years old.

3. Non consanguineous marriage.

4. There is no legal prohibition on marriage or illness.

5. Both parties are currently unmarried, divorced, or widowed.

6. Both parties voluntarily marry.

7. Bring both parties' household registration books and ID cards, as well as three recent 2-inch half length bareheaded photos of both parties, to the Civil Affairs Bureau for processing.

Small tips:

For those who are unable to submit their ID card due to unforeseen circumstances, a valid temporary ID card can be issued.

To get a marriage certificate for a collective household registration, you need to go to the registered residence local police station to handle the registered residence certificate, and take the registered residence certificate and other valid documents to the civil affairs department to handle the marriage registration.
