1、 After obtaining the marriage certificate, one can transfer their household registration
After a citizen's permanent residence changes, they should transfer their household registration to their current place of residence, that is, carry out household registration transfer. After marriage, both husband and wife can move together or separate. But in principle, once a couple has a common residence, they need to move to the street where their residence is located.
2、 Process of transferring household registration after marriage
1. Apply to the local police station for relocation.
2. The local police station agrees to move in.
3. Apply for relocation to the local police station where your current household registration is located.
4. Registered residence certificate issued by local police station.
5. Go to the Household Affairs Department of the municipal public security bureau at the place of immigration with the registered residence certificate and relevant supporting materials to apply for immigration.
6. The Household Registration Department issues a "Relocation Permit".
7. Bring the "Relocation Permit" back to the local police station where the household registration is located to handle the relocation and issue a relocation permit.
8. Bring your migration certificate and ID card to the local police station where you are relocating to enter the household.
