1、 Materials required for marriage certificate application
1. The original and photocopy of both parties' household registration books and ID cards.
2. Declaration of no direct blood relationship or collateral blood relationship within three generations between the two parties.
3. Three recent bareheaded half body red or blue background double ID photos (the size of the marriage certificate photo must be two inches).
4. If one party is remarried, they should also bring a divorce certificate or a divorce judgment issued by the court.
5. If one party is a Hong Kong, Macau, or Taiwan compatriot, they must hold a Mainland Travel Permit, Homecoming Permit, and other valid documents.
6. If one party is an overseas Chinese, they must hold a passport.
7. If one party is a foreign citizen, they must hold a valid passport and valid international travel procedures.
2、 Marriage registration requirements
1. Both parties must voluntarily register their marriage, and this is a matter of their own discretion.
2. The age of both parties must meet the national legal age for marriage, which means that boys must be at least 22 years old and girls must be at least 20 years old to get married.
3. There is no direct blood relationship or collateral blood relationship within three generations between the two parties.
4. Both parties have no spouse in their legal relationship.
