The national statutory marriage leave is 3 days, not 15 days. According to the revised Population and Family Planning Law of China, couples who register their marriage in accordance with the law can enjoy 3 days of marriage leave.
1、 The national statutory marriage leave is 3 days
According to the national regulations on marriage leave:
1. Those who get married at the legal age of marriage (20 years old for females and 22 years old for males) are entitled to 3 days of marriage leave.
2. Those who meet the age for late marriage (23 years old for females and 25 years old for males) will no longer be eligible for late marriage leave rewards, only 3 days of statutory marriage leave.
3. If both the man and the woman are not working in the same place at the time of marriage, additional travel leave may be granted depending on the distance traveled.
4. Marriage during family visit leave (to visit parents) will not be granted additional leave.
5. Marriage leave includes public holidays and statutory holidays.
6. Remarried individuals are entitled to statutory marriage leave.

1. Provinces and municipalities directly under the central government that strictly implement national marriage leave standards
3-day wedding leave: Zhejiang, Hunan, Ningxia, Shandong, Guangxi, Anhui, Guangdong, Tianjin, Hubei, Jiangxi, Sichuan
2. Provinces and municipalities directly under the central government that have not yet cancelled their late marriage leave
Xizang: 3 days of marriage leave+7 days of late marriage leave=10 days
3. Provinces where late marriage leave has been cancelled but still exceeds 3 days
Shanghai: 10 days of marriage leave
Fujian: 15 days of marriage leave
Shanxi: 30 days of marriage leave
Chongqing: 15 days of marriage leave
Heilongjiang: 15 days (legal)+an additional 10 days (reward for participating in premarital medical examinations)=25 days
Henan: Marriage leave of 3 days+extended marriage leave of 18 days=21 days
