The content of premarital examination includes four parts: inquiring about medical history, physical examination, laboratory examination, and genital examination. 1、 Why do we need to have a pre marital check-up before getting married
Pre marital examination is of great significance to both men and women. Marriage check-up is a physical examination of the reproductive status of both men and women before marriage, with the aim of checking whether they have genetic diseases, in order to detect and prevent diseases in advance, and ensure the happiness of their marriage after marriage.
2、 Pre marital examination items
1. Inquire about medical history: The main purpose is to check the current health status and past illness history of both parties, whether there are infectious diseases, heart diseases, mental illnesses, etc., and whether both parties are direct blood relatives or collateral blood relatives within three generations.
2. Physical examination: mainly a general examination, including examination of major organs and organs.
3. Laboratory examination: including chest X-ray, routine blood and urine, blood type, ALT and hepatitis B surface antigen, thalassemia screening, etc.
4. Genital examination: Check for any lesions in both reproductive organs.
3、 Precautions for premarital medical examination
1. It is best to undergo a premarital medical examination three months in advance, as if any treatable diseases are found after the examination, they can be treated and recovered as soon as possible without affecting the wedding date.
2. The day before the premarital examination, not only should you rest well, but also have a light diet, otherwise it will affect the test results during the premarital examination.
3. During premarital check ups, women should avoid the menstrual period, otherwise it may lead to inaccurate test results.
4. On the day of the premarital examination, one should not eat in the morning and should be examined with an empty stomach to ensure the results of the examination.
