Notes on Marriage Registration
1. Marriage registration needs to be processed during the working hours of the civil affairs department, and the general working hours of the civil affairs bureau are from Monday to Friday.
2. The newlyweds who apply for marriage registration need to bring the necessary certificates to the Civil Affairs Bureau where one party's registered residence is located to register their marriage. They cannot apply for marriage registration in other places.
3. Pay attention to whether the ID card number filled in by the proofreader is consistent with the ID card, and the information should be consistent without typos.
4. For those who are unable to submit their ID card due to unforeseen circumstances, a valid temporary ID card can be issued.
5. Expired or invalidated ID cards, household registration books, and other documents are not eligible for marriage registration.
6. To get a marriage certificate, the party with a collective household registration needs to go to the registered residence police station to apply for a registered residence certificate, and take the registered residence certificate to apply for marriage registration.
7. The parties who remarry need to bring additional divorce documents such as divorce certificates that can prove their marital status.
