Diamond ij color is a near colorless color. In the GIA diamond color grading system, diamonds are classified into 23 levels of color, ranging from light to dark as D E、F、G、H、I—J、K—L、M、N—O、P—R、S—Z。 Among them, D-F represents colorless, G-J is nearly colorless, K-M is slightly yellow, N-R is extremely slightly yellow, and S-Z is pale yellow. Therefore, ij color belongs to the slightly white level among diamond colors, close to colorless, and has a relatively high cost-effectiveness.
Diamond color grading
D-level: The color of D-level diamonds is completely colorless, which is the highest level among diamond grades. However, diamonds of this grade are very rare, so the price is also very high.
E-grade: Colorless grade, consumers cannot see any difference with the naked eye. Only professional gemstone appraisers can distinguish the slightly cool elements contained inside diamonds with the help of special machines, so they are also very rare.
F-grade: Both belong to the colorless grade, and jewelry appraisers can see almost no yellow elements, so it is also a high-quality diamond.
G-H grade: close to colorless grade, only by comparing with high-quality diamonds can the difference be seen, so the quality of diamonds is still very high.
I-J level: A small amount of yellow elements can be seen with the naked eye.
K-N level: The yellow element of diamonds can be observed with the naked eye and has no investment value. It is not recommended to purchase.
