A photo is required for the premarital examination. When both men and women undergo marriage check ups, they need to bring three one inch blue or red background photos, as well as their household registration book and ID card.
Precautions for premarital medical examination
1. Marriage check ups can be done three months before and one month after obtaining the certificate, but it is important to keep a distance from the wedding date and allow sufficient time to deal with potential issues.
2. The working hours of the premarital examination center are from Monday to Friday, and couples are required to undergo premarital examinations within working days.
3. Women should avoid their menstrual period during premarital check ups and wait for three days after their period is clean before getting checked again. Otherwise, the urine of women may contain a large number of red blood cells, which may lead doctors to suspect that they have diseases such as nephritis and stones.
4. Don't stay up late, don't be too tired, and don't drink alcohol the day before the premarital examination, as these may affect the results of liver function tests.
5. Try to have a light diet the day before the premarital examination to avoid the occurrence of chyle blood (blood turbidity) during blood tests, which may affect the test results.
6. Marriage check ups must be conducted on an empty stomach for at least 8-10 hours, and must not eat in the morning of the same day.
