According to Article 5 of Chapter 2 of China's Marriage Registration Regulations, mainland residents who apply for marriage registration should bring the following materials:
1. Both parties' resident ID cards (usually also required)

2. Both parties' household registration books（
Collective household registration certification
3. I hereby declare that I have no spouse and no direct blood relationship or collateral blood relationship within three generations with the other party.
4. Divorce requires proof of current marital status or relevant divorce documents.
5. Three recent two inch half length bareheaded couple photos (can also be taken on-site at the Civil Affairs Bureau).
