What do I need to prepare for registering a marriage
1. Suggest premarital medical examination
The Marriage Law does not require men and women who apply for marriage certificates to undergo premarital medical examinations, and the completion of premarital medical examinations is based on the principle of voluntary consent. However, for the purpose of promoting eugenics and taking responsibility for oneself and one's partner, it is recommended that everyone undergo a premarital medical examination as much as possible before applying for a marriage certificate.
2. License issuance location
The place for applying for a marriage certificate is the civil affairs bureau or marriage registration authority in the place where either party's household registration is located.
3. License issuance time
The specific working hours of each marriage registration agency vary in different regions, and it is recommended that everyone check in advance.
4. Certification materials
The original and photocopy of both parties' household registration books, the original and photocopy of both parties' ID cards, and three 2-inch recent half body color photos without hats (can be taken on-site or brought by oneself) are required.
5. Both parties are prepared
Both parties can wear couple outfits or other commemorative clothing, apply light makeup, prepare headscarves, flowers, and other shooting PROPS, or hire specialized certification personnel to add a sense of ceremony to the certification process.
