The group of people who are unwilling to get married are called the "unmarried group" or "celibates". Some unmarried people are unwilling to get married, some because they have not yet met someone they can completely trust and love, or because they are more free spirited and enjoy a free life. Some people prefer the feeling of love, but do not like to be bound by marriage.
Reasons for unwillingness to get married
1. Unable to meet the right person
As mentioned earlier, unmarried individuals have high levels of knowledge and elegant speech. Many of them hold doctoral degrees and have their own independent sources of income. Therefore, it is quite difficult to find a partner with similar values and interests. Since we can't find someone suitable and our own conditions are so excellent, why lower our conditions and find someone who is not suitable to live our lives with?
2. Economic independence
In ancient society, the status of women was always at a very low level. After marrying into their husband's family, they had no source of income and could only rely on their husband. But in modern society, the continuous improvement of women's status has made their economic sources gradually independent, and some have even higher economic conditions than men. It can be said that women are not inferior to men.
3. Getting married is too troublesome
Marriage is a very troublesome matter, from preparing pre marital items to preparing oil, salt, sauce, vinegar, and tea after marriage, it is not a small matter. However, compared to the various interpersonal relationships that need to be dealt with after marriage, these are already relatively minor. The relationships between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, seven great grandmothers and eight great aunts, and so on, are really exhausting both physically and mentally.
4. Fear of marriage
Why do we fear marriage? It may be because we have seen many unhappy marriages, infidelity, or domestic violence around us since childhood, which has led to our inner fear of marriage and built a defense line in our hearts to protect ourselves.
5. Likes freedom
A person can maximize their freedom by doing whatever they want (provided they do not engage in illegal activities). Getting married means having a sense of responsibility and not making decisions alone. Although a person may feel lonely at times, they can maximize their freedom without interference or restriction.
