The so-called pigeon egg is a metaphor for diamonds that are as big as pigeon eggs, usually referring to diamonds and precious gemstones. Their characteristics are not only large, but also of good quality, able to withstand the 4C standard test, in order to be called pigeon eggs.
Diamond Carat Weight
The weight of diamonds is calculated in carats (CT). 1 carat=0.2 grams=100 minutes. 0.5 carats=50 points, 30 points=0.3 carats. The value of diamonds increases in an irregular geometric series with the increase of diamond weight, known as the carat step.
